Dr. Rachel Velasquez, an ordained minister, has a heart committed to sharing the good news of Jesus. She has over 35 years of preaching the gospel. Her portfolio includes working in corporate business and also in ministry. Her leadership qualities and positions include pastor, educator, mentor, conference speaker and consultant to leaders.

Gabe & Ruth Velasquez
Vice President
Gabe has served as RVM Vice President since its inception. He and his wife Ruth are a vital part of this team. Gabe has a love for teaching the Bible and Ruth has the ministry of helps. As Christian Business Entrepreneurs their knowledge has helped shape the direction of our team.
Bernice Cadriel
Financial Officer
Bernie oversees the stewardship of RVM non-profit resources with integrity and knowledge. She is a vital voice on the Executive Board to help RVM reach forward with the mission and the vision. She also serves the RVM Women's Conference as the Director of Business. Bernie wears many hats to ensure our ministry serves others well. She often serves as a Worship Director, musician, teacher, and speaker.

Rev. Cecilia Gomez
Board Member
Cecilia Gomez serves as the Kids Pastor at The Church on the Way, bringing more than 35 years of experience in children’s ministry. Her passion for helping kids encounter Jesus has shaped every season of her life. From creative teaching to large-scale events to developing young leaders, Cecilia has dedicated her ministry to building places where children feel loved, seen, and excited to grow in their faith.
Cecilia is known for her creativity—she loves crafting, designing, and dreaming up fun and engaging experiences for kids and families. Outside of ministry, she enjoys traveling, discovering great food, and, of course, shopping for treasures wherever she goes.
She has been married to her husband, Oscar, for 33 years, and they have two adult children: Josh (31), who is married to Amber, and Debbie (28). Cecilia is also a proud grandma to two beautiful grandchildren, Edie (8) and Emerson (3), who bring endless joy to her world.
Above all, Cecilia’s heart is to point the next generation to Jesus and to create a ministry where every child knows they are loved by God.
As of 2024, Pastor Ceci has been the RVM Women's Conference Director and also serves as a Mentor in RVM's ICU Mentorship.

Linda Rivera
Board Member
Linda is a Home Missionary working with Central School of Ministry and Neighbor-to-Neighbor Utah. She and her husband Jim deliver medical and vision clinics all over Salt Lake City, UT. They have invested almost 40 years in equipping intercultural pastors and impacting generations of Christian leaders. They have been active in ministry as church planters, Bible college administrators, English pastors in a Korean church, and pastors for Garage Worship outreach.
Linda has a passionate heart for women, to see them develop in their God-appointed giftings regardless of where life has taken them. She is devoted to winning the lost and building relationship in the community so people experience the Kingdom of God.
Linda also serves as the Co-Director for RVM's ICU Mentorship.

Pastor M. Pat Mata
Board Member
Pat is an ordained minister of the Assemblies of God and New Hope Greeley is her spiritual home, where she has served in many capacities for over 25 years and is currently on staff as Interim Lead Pastor. Many years ago, Pat began to serve with the Women’s ministry in her local church and at a district level, where she discovered her true purpose. She has experience in planning and executing conferences with over 1,000 women in attendance, in both English and Spanish. In 2022, she became the Women’s director for the Central District/Distrito Central, which spans 6 states throughout the Rocky Mountain region.
Pastor Pat also serves as Co-Director for RVM's ICU Mentorship.
